The waste directory takes your postcode/town and the wastes you've selected and does a search to find the nearest sites to you that can take the wastes that you've selected. The site also contains links to other websites that may be able to help you manage your waste.
If you are interested in registering a business waste disposal or recycling facility with us, then please fill in the registration form and we will contact you for further information.
Please note, waste carriers cannot register with the waste directory.
From either the homepage or the 'Find Sites' link (available in the main navigation on every page), enter you postcode/town.
You will then be asked to select the waste types you need to recycle or dispose. Check a maximum of 10 and continue to your results.
A list of results are displayed with priority given to the closest waste site that can recycle/dispose of the most of your waste types.
You also have the option of displaying the results on a map or in a comparison chart, as well as finding out more about individual companies and the directions to reach them.
You should always contact the company by telephone before taking waste to them.
Yes, see question 'How do I search the waste directory?'
The waste directory doesn't list the cost of disposal or recycling for individual companies. Therefore, you should contact the company you're considering and get a quote before taking your waste to them.
The duty of care is always available on the homepage. Additionally, you can find out more by visiting NetRegs.
